Our Story
Much before sites like Coursera existed and the Internet was still a luxury, he started a computer institute and offered training for free. The students had to pay only for the optional certificates. All of them paid!
Meet Arun Kumar Acharya, a marketing consultant with over 22 years of offline and online marketing experience. At the age of twelve, he was running a comic book library out of an abandoned bus station. He went on to study computer science and multimedia. Even before he completed his computer degree, he got a job as a trainer in the same college. He left the college to start his venture selling assembled desktops. He also ran a computer training institute that flourished in three major cities of the Uttar Pradesh province in India.
He came to the Southern part of India to become a movie editor but started working with Neilson’s Book Data, creating descriptions of different books.
Writing copy became his passion and he left the job to form Powercut Media ™ in the year 2007. He started by offering copy as a service and writes to this day.
He mastered the art of selling in his early years and keeps himself updated on the trends of digital marketing services so that he can assist small businesses and professionals in optimizing the power of the Internet.
The story of Powercut Media ™ is the story of Arun. He is the brain behind the company and coordinates the Powercut Media ™ team.
